Whole Hearted Medicine Pty Ltd is owned and operated by Dr Emily Amos and Dr Lucy Burns, both of whom are registered medical practitioners.
The purpose of the company is to provide environments in which doctors can learn and practice self care. This is done but not limited to hosting retreats, workshops and masterclasses 


Medical Disclaimer 

The information provided at a Whole Hearted Medicine retreat is of an educational nature. 
The information is for general use. 
Dr Lucy Burns and Dr Emily Amos are acting as retreat facilitators, mindfulness and meditation teachers. 
There is no doctor patient relationship between any retreat attendees or the retreat facilitators
There is no individualised medical care or advice (outside of emergency care) provided at a Whole Hearted Medicine Retreat.  
We cannot and do not make any representations or warranty with respect to the content on a Whole Hearted Medicine course, retreat workshop, website or other communications. Use of information at Whole Hearted Medicine Retreats, in any courses and other services offered by Whole Hearted Medicine is done so at your own risk.
The information we provide at Whole Hearted Medicine is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional.
Seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
The content we provide is not intended to be relied upon for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Do not disregard medical advice or delay visiting a medical professional because of something you read on our website, in our course or our other communication channels.

Cancellation Policy
We would like you to Book with Confidence.
This our "Book with Confidence" guarantee. 
We support you in the following ways if you need to make changes after booking one of our retreats:
  • 60 days or more from start of retreat: full refund minus $50 booking fee
  • 28-59 days from start of retreat: 50% refund minus $50 booking fee
  • Less than 28 days from start of retreat: no refund *(see COVID policy)

Outside of this policy:

We maintain cancellation lists for all sold out retreats and where possible will do our best to share your place with those on the waitlist. If we are able to replace your booking then you will be entitled to a full refund minus $50 booking fee.

We suggest you take out travel insurance in case of injury, illness (including COVID-19) or cancellation by you. Unfortunately we cannot refund you for these occurrences outside of our Book with Confidence guarantee.

*COVID POLICY:
We strongly encourage you to take out travel insurance for your trip to cover you in the event of contracting COVID-19 prior to travel and not being able to attend the retreat.
If however you are unable to attend a retreat due to being restricted by state border closures or movement orders secondary to a COVID-19 snap lockdown we will refund you the retreat price paid minus $50 booking fee.
If the retreat is unable to be held due to COVID related restrictions or border closures, the retreat date will be postponed and all bookings will automatically transfer to the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, please get in touch for alternative dates and options.

Hospital Leave 
Please ensure you have leave prior to booking a retreat. Whoe Hearted Medicine is unable to offer refunds outside the "Book With Confidence" guarantee in the event that you do not have leave to attend a retreat 

Payment
All prices listed are plus GST.
If you require a payment plan please get in touch with us via info@wholeheartedmedicine.com.au including ‘payment plan’ in the subject heading to discuss available options

All retreats must be fully paid for before the commencement of the retreat.
All payment plans must be fully reconciled before the retreat.
There are no refunds outside the "Book with Confidence" policy 
Any refunds will incur a $50 admin fee.
